We may collect, among other things, the following information:

• Full Name
• Organisation name
• Practice area
• Chamber Address including District & Thana
• Contact Information (Mobile Number, E-mail Address)
• Demographic Information (Postcode, Preferences, Interests)
• Bar Council license number and Bar Association ID/Membership card
• Professional Experience

Who is eligible: An Advocate refers to a person listed under "The Bangladesh Legal Practitioners and Bar Council Order 1972 [P.O 46 of 1972]".

Services: Registered Advocates of the Supreme and Lower Court can provide advice and services including: Criminal, Civil, Family Counseling, Cyber, Notary, Immigration, and Company Registration.

We advise all users to have detailed discussions regarding legal matters and fees before engaging an Advocate. All legal fees and transaction processes should be understood and agreed upon directly with the Advocate. Find My Advocate Authority has no involvement in these transactions and shall not be liable for any disputes therein.

Registration may be cancelled if:

• False or fake license/membership information is provided.
• The Advocate is unable to offer services to clients.
• Valid complaints are received or activities contrary to the law are committed using the service.

In the event of cancellation, you will have the opportunity to defend or reply via email within 30 days of the notice. The Authority shall not be liable for any false information provided by users.

Find My Advocate acts only as a third party to communicate clients with Advocates. Expenditure and remuneration are determined solely based on discussions between the client and the Advocate. Before issuing a Power of Attorney (Vokalatnama), clients should clarify all costs. The Authority shall not be liable for any transactions or procedural problems between parties.

Dispute Resolution: We aim to provide a neutral and cost-effective means of resolving disputes. We encourage you to contact us directly first. Arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh will be used as an alternative to litigation.

Applicable Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka.

Payments for services are accepted via mobile financial services (e.g., bKash/Rocket). After payment, you will receive a Payment ID and the Advocate's contact details. If a user is unable to communicate with the Advocate within 2 working days of a booking, the booking fee may not be refundable.

Advocates agree to a service charge for each service provided. If an Advocate fails to communicate with a client within two working days of a booking, their remuneration may be deducted. We do not tolerate misbehavior toward clients; valid complaints may result in client refunds and forfeiture of consultation fees.

We use your information for:

• Internal record keeping and service improvement.
• Sending promotional emails or special offers.
• Market research purposes to better understand user needs.

Security: We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We use physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
